Shoe ornaments

I found myself standing at the counter in the kids shoe dept of Nordstrom the other day. In my hand were four princess jibbitz. Ally and her Disney Princess obsession were getting the best of me. Those four teeny tiny plastic princess heads added up to $12.

Thinking of other ways I could have spent $12, this list began to form in my mind:

3 Mc Donald's Happy Meals
3 Starbucks Trips (grande iced americano & toffee almond bar please!)
$20 worth of Pottery Barn merchandise
12 items in the Target dollar section
4 cases of Diet Sunkist
10 2lb bags of powdered sugar at Win-Co (yes, it's THAT cheap)

But when her little face lit up as I pulled them out of my purse, the $12 was totally worth it.

Until she asked why I didn't buy Jasmine.
