What an awesome turn out. We had between 1500-2000 people come to our block party.
You should have seen the size of her eyes when she spotted THREE bouncy houses.
Mark, Gwen, and Becki. Hats off to them, they bbq'd over 1000 burgers today! Who knows how many hot dogs they made. Some of the 90 who came to help from our church family.
My sweet Lafaye. Love her.
Cher and Tammy, working the cotton candy stand.
Our enthusiastic Pastor E.T. bringing 100% intensity.
The line. Also very enthusiastic for how warm it was.
Cotton Candy Lover
Excited kids with new backpacks. Ally did a great job picking out those princess backpacks. I knew some little girl would be happy!
Haircuts!
Face painting. Amazing work. I'm booking her for my next party.
Mom's mini spa
Water balloon toss
Recognize the guy below? That's Dan, the groom from the Supercuts wedding story. He came and worked the popcorn machine all day. Amazing how things come full circle.
The arts and crafts station.
I loved these little boys. So stinkin cute.
It was so fun being able to give away all these great things to the people in our community. They were just floored when we said it was all free. One couple showed up super early to get in line for the backpacks and ended up helping set up and stayed the whole day. One worked the cake walk and the other at the coloring contest booth. It was amazing.
Can't wait for next year.
