Thanksgiving Day

Dan got up bright and early on Thanksgiving morning to make the kids his famous cinnamon rolls. I have to hand it to him, there isn't just one baker in this family. They were gooood! Grandpa George stopped by for a slice of my salted caramel cheesecake and bearing gifts for the kids...Advent Calendars, which my kids proceeded to open and eat within the first couple days of Advent. We spent the day at my aunt Susan's house. She outdid herself with a darling decorated table and adorable mongrammed pistachio place settings for each person. Dinner was wonderful as usual. Then we headed home for a relaxing night in. No Black Friday shopping for me this year, in fact, I didn't even get a paper!
