Ally's class Valentine's Day party

Ally was equally as excited as H for her class Valentine's party. Her homework the week before was to create something to hold her Valentine's. Mrs. T said to make it big enough for even the largest valentines. So we made a giant owl valentine holder. Ally cut out the paper pieces to make the owl face, while I wrapped a giant oatmeal box up and created a ribbon handle. My kind of homework! Crafts!

For Ally's valentines, we ordered jump ropes and made tags to match that said something cheesy and valentines-ish. She was so excited to sign her name on the backs of each one. At the party, her class bowled, crafted woven hearts, ate heart shaped cookies, and exchanged valentines. Ally found a special teacher badge at Pottery Bark Kids a few weeks before that she wanted to get for Mrs. T. Mrs. Trosvig opened her valentine and proudly wore it for the entire party!
