B

My friend Jennie called last week to find out if she still had time to order a cake and cupcakes for her little guy's first birthday. Of course being me, I wanted to know what the theme was. She said it was very last minute and all she knew was that the colors would be red white and blue. She told me "Whatever you want to do, I know I'll love them".

The birthday boy's name is Bennett, but they call him "B". It's kinda funny, she and I were pregnant at the same time last year with boys. We didn't know it at the time but we both had ordered almost all the same things from Pottery Barn Kids for our nurseries. The boys literally have almost matching rooms. They wear the same clothes (without our knowing), and kind of even look alike. But when she said they called him "B" that was REALLY wierd because Dan has called Hudson "H" forever.

ANYWAY, long story short, I made my own little "B" theme.

I liked how they turned out but let me tell you, those tiny B's gave me a run for my money. Talk about DIFFICULT to get out of the cookie cutter!
