Easter

Somehow Ally managed to pick up a super high fever last weekend. What a bummer, on Easter weekend. All the build up from the stories and lessons at pre-school, decorating crosses and eggs, family dinner at Susan's, and of course, her yellow Easter dress she could hardly wait to wear to church...

all
had
to
wait.

Dang fever.
It kicked her butt. She layed on the couch and moaned for two days straight, burning up, and at one point even told me she wished Hudson was sick and she wasn't. SAD.

So we didn't do much. We lounged, we ate saltine crackers, we watched Alice in Wonderland at least a dozen times, and remembered that there will be plenty of Easter Sunday services in the future, many occasions to wear her special yellow dress, and that Jesus would definitely understand.

****If you know Ally, you know she's been saving her quarters for the Cinderella wedding dress. Yes, it never ends. Thank you Disney for continuing to make new versions of must have Cinderella dresses. The Easter Bunny just barely came through (thanks to very sloooooooowwww shipping)and was able to make her briefly feel better and put a smile on her face....maybe the biggest smile I've ever seen her little face make.
