Last fall I got sucked into a "daily deal" email and purchased a photography session with a local photographer I know. I waited until just about the last minute to redeem my session, which also happened to be the day after Hudson's birthday party. No rest for the weary I guess. So we met Heather and her assistant down at the marina in Everett. While Heather was sweet and patient with my kids, Ally and H transformed into little mini models posing and smiling like magic. I'd never seen it before. They listened to her every instruction, grinning from ear to ear. It was unlike any other photo session we'd ever been involved in where there is usually some major bribing involved...ie: candy, slurpees, Mc Donalds... no bribing needed this time. Heather wrapped the session in a moment's time and I was left with a decision no person should have to make: pick one photo for your groupon.

Not such a magical deal when you end up buying the entire session, but oh well, I love these pictures of Ally and Hudson!
