Happy Birthday Sugar!

Do you have a friend you just know you'll be friends with forever? Even when you're old and gray? You know you'll always be friends because you've been through the good times, the bad times, the silly arguements, and even those few years that passed when you weren't friends but always knew you would be again. My forever friend is Brenda. I love her. She is funny, smart, successful, beautiful, has a huge heart, and would do anything for me. She loves my husband, my kids, and basically my entire family.

Here we are, downtown Seattle.
It was a school day. Shopping just seemed more fun.
This day we decided to go to school, although it looks like we are a little late. Notice there are no other kids in the parking lot. And yes, that is my outfit for the day, complete with coat hanger. We had aerobics class first.













































Graduation could not come soon enough. We were ready for the next chapter of our lives...college!

But first, a road trip to California. Still can't believe our parents let us go.













































Our first apartment. Sorry Bren, you probably hate this picture but I am loving the Gap overalls. And look at me. It's pretty obvious I did not own a flat iron at this time.
Fast forward what, five years? (We skipped a couple, this may be where the friendship gap took place.)
